      China Sichuan International Cooperation Co., Ltd (SIETCO) was established  on December 2^nd 1980 as the first foreign economic enterprise at the provincial level  in our country under the"SIETCO"with Shanghai Stock Exchange on April 4^th , 1994  following the stock system restructure in 1993. SIETCO has its Head Office in  Chengdu, Sichuan province with a number of affiliated departments (companies) in Sichuan province with a number of affiliated deparments (companies) in Sichuan,  Beijing, Shanghai, Henan, Guangxi, Hainan, etc. and offices and project  management offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Nepal, Kuwaiti, Zambia, Hong Kong, etc. SIETCO undertakes the execution of international construction projects and provides international labor services as its main line of business while operating business in the fields of import and export trade, real estate development, engineering supervision and consultation and manufacture of complete sets of electrical equipment. To date SIETCO has executed over 400 construction and labor service projects in over 50 counties with a total contract value being U.S.A dollars 1 billion. SIETCO has dispatched overseas various technical personnel 30,000 persons/times. Undertaking construction projects overseas has helped the export of domestic equipment and materials  totaling over U.S.A dollars 100,000,000. In 1991 and 1992 SIETCO was respectively awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations "China's First Foreign Economic Cooperation Enterprises Advanced Management Prize", and in 1993 SIETCO was awarded the honorary credential "The 100 Strongest Chinese Enterprises", being ranked the 21st strongest. Since 1994 SIETCO has been successively ranked as one of the 225 world largest international contactors by "Engineering News-record" published in U.S.A. At the time of entering the New Century of economic integration of the whole globe and the New Century of economic integration of the whole globe and the time when china is about to join WTO, and with the strategy of giant development of Western China adopted by the central government, SIETCO undoubtedly stands a new development opportunity and its business will surely exerience a greater development!
